A report or an AI dashboard: what do you actually need?

More and more tools offer a dashboard that tracks every day whether AI mentions your brand. Useful for large marketing teams. But most businesses want to know something else: where do I stand, why does AI pick my competitor, and what should I do? You don't need a subscription for that.

Short answer: if you want to know what is wrong and what to do about it, one good report is enough. Measure again whenever you like, or every month with the Monitor. A dashboard subscription only makes sense if an in-house marketing team wants to steer day by day.

Do those dashboards really monitor live?

No. No tool can see what AI tells your customers; those conversations are private. A dashboard asks a fixed set of questions on a fixed schedule, often daily, and plots the results.

That has value: measuring often shows fluctuations. But AI recommendations usually shift gradually, along with your website, your reviews and what others write about you. For most businesses measuring periodically, monthly or quarterly, is enough to steer by. What makes the difference is knowing what to change.

Baseline first, tracking later

A dashboard shows how your figures move. But without a baseline you don't know what those figures mean: is 23% good or bad, and what causes it? So start with one thorough measurement that explains where you stand and why.

Then improve using the to-do list, and measure again to see what it achieved. Every package includes that re-measurement after 3 months for free. Re-measuring once a quarter is plenty for most businesses, and far cheaper than paying for a subscription every month.

Why a report works better for most businesses

1

You get answers, not data

A dashboard shows you are 23% visible. Our report shows which buying questions you are missing from, which competitor AI names instead, and which sources AI relies on.

2

A to-do list ordered by impact

Every report ends with concrete improvements, most important first. You or your web developer can start right away.

3

All six platforms, always

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Meta AI each use different sources. That is why every package measures all six, at no extra cost.

4

Pay per measurement, not per month

€29 for a Scan, with a free re-measurement after 3 months. Want to follow your progress? The Monitor gives 12 monthly reports at €19 per report, paid upfront and never renewed automatically.

When does a dashboard make sense?

If you are a large brand with an in-house marketing team, want to track hundreds of questions across several countries and steer every day. For most online stores and small businesses that is too much: they want to know what is wrong, fix it, and then see whether it worked.

Frequently asked questions

Why start with a baseline?
Without a baseline you don't know what a dashboard's figures mean. Our report records where you stand, why AI does or doesn't recommend you and what to do. With the free re-measurement after 3 months you then see in black and white what your changes achieved.
Isn't a one-time report out of date quickly?
The report is a measurement at a fixed moment. That is why every package includes a free re-measurement after 3 months: the same questions, the same six platforms, the result next to your first measurement. Want a new report every month? The Monitor gives 12 monthly reports for €228, or €19 per report.
Do AI dashboards monitor live what AI says about me?
No. Nobody can see your customers' conversations. Dashboards ask a fixed set of questions on a schedule, often daily, and show the results as charts.
When should I choose a dashboard after all?
When an in-house marketing team wants to track hundreds of questions across several countries and steer every day. For most businesses a report with a to-do list is faster and cheaper.
What does an AI Visibility Report cost?
The Scan costs €29, Pro €79 and Complete €149, one-time and including VAT. The Monitor costs €228 upfront for 12 monthly Scan reports. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
